About the instrument
The Lufft IRS31Pro-UMB is a passive road sensor installed flush with the road surface. It records surface temperature, water-film height, freezing temperature and road condition. Its two-part housing allows the sensor and electronics to be removed for maintenance while the socket remains in place; depth-temperature probes are available according to configuration.
